Job summary

Wellington Management in Boston is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Post-Trade Technologies team. You will define requirements with business partners, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with developers to deliver scalable, high-quality trade processing solutions.

You will also participate in testing, production support rotations, and vendor/broker coordination, using SQL and other DB technologies to support critical production applications in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance or related subject.
• 5+ years BA or system analysis experience.
• Experience with SQL or other relational database technology.
• Experience writing requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans.
• Experience in IT change, incident and problem management and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business partners to define, analyze, and document requirements and priorities.
• Act as a trusted advisor for business partners’ needs.
• Collaborate with developers, DB architects, vendors and IT teams on functional specs and UI design.
• Provide production support, incident management, and escalation as needed.
• Engage in vendor/broker management and project work with the business team.
