Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting Windows and Linux in production environments.
• Experience with IT infrastructure: servers, virtualization, storage and backups.
• Strong networking fundamentals and incident troubleshooting skills.
• Adept with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple incidents in a fast-paced setting.
• Degree in CS/IT or related field; certifications are a plus.
• Scripting exposure (PowerShell, Bash) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line support for Windows and Linux workstations/servers.
• Maintain core IT infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN networking issues and related devices.
• Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and Group Policy.
• Handle incidents via the ticketing system with timely updates.
• Monitor system health and perform routine maintenance and patches.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting steps; update knowledge base.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning and training.
• Collaborate with vendors and escalate to senior engineers when needed.
• Apply security best practices, patch management, and endpoint protection.
