Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an IT Support professional at our Chicago office to ensure IT solutions run smoothly and end-users are supported effectively. The role includes training users on new devices, enabling access to resources, and maintaining security best practices.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related fields, at least one year in a complex IT environment, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in a complex IT operating/support environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
• Preferred background in Healthcare, Customer Service or Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implemented IT solutions are functioning at an optimal level and end-users’ needs are met.
• Provide end-user support including training on new device capability, basic device operations, accessing network resources, and device security best practices
• Support and follow established procedures for managing incidents and request tickets while adhering to SLA’s, documenting updates with actions taken, client communication, and closure with complete resolution documentation
• Analyze, configure, install, maintain, upgrade and retire hardware and software that require 24/7 support
• Communicate with field leadership team on task updates, potential risks or concerns that may impact assigned projects
