Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an IT Support / Systems Administrator to join our Chicago-based team. You will cover the service desk for onsite and remote users, manage M365 admin centers, networking, and endpoint security, and assist with infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining Windows and macOS environments, Active Directory administration, and collaborating with global teams to resolve issues. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a large enterprise in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Windows and macOS troubleshooting for end users.
• Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, and group policy concepts.
• Proficient using Intune, M365 admin centers, and cloud services.
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell or Bash is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover the IT support queue from a service desk to assist internal users, onsite and remote.
• Manage M365 admin centers, SharePoint/Intune/OneDrive/Exchange, and collaboration tools.
• Maintain endpoints, monitor security, apply patches, and troubleshoot issues.
• Administer global Active Directory including DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Provide remote support to global offices and document work in the knowledge base.
• Collaborate with teams on projects and continuous process improvements.
• Ensure IT security best practices and effective incident management.
