Job summary

NW Natural is seeking a Senior IT SOX/Operational Auditor to lead IT SOX testing, control design reviews, and reporting within Internal Audit. You will manage cross-functional relationships with IT and business controls, ensuring alignment with external audit expectations.

The role supports IT operational audits and contributes to the annual audit plan with strong documentation and risk-based testing. Remote work options exist for eligible states.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of IT SOX audit experience.
• Experience developing test work programs for SOX controls (manual & automated).
• Experience testing IT general controls and automated reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the annual IT SOX Audit Plan.
• Execute and report on IT SOX testing including IT general controls and automated reports.
• Document SOX testing work with audit evidence for review.
• Manage relationships with business controls office, IT compliance, and external auditors.
• Support IT operational audits and related deliverables as a key IA team member.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and timely testing plan execution.
