Job summary

NW Natural is seeking a Senior IT SOX/Operational Auditor for a non-union, remote-capable role. The candidate will lead the IT SOX audit plan, test IT general controls, and evaluate automated reports to support internal controls over financial reporting.

Requires a CISA and at least five years of IT SOX audit experience, with familiarity in NIST CSF/COBIT. The position offers strong benefits and an opportunity to work across a dynamic internal audit team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IS, CS, Accounting, or related field.
• CISA certification is required.
• Public accounting and publicly traded company experience preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years IT SOX audit experience.
• Experience with NIST CSF and COBIT mappings.
• Experience with SAP, data analytics tools, and AuditBoard preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the annual IT SOX Audit Plan.
• Execute IT SOX testing including IT general controls and automated reports.
• Document and report SOX testing results and audit evidence.
• Perform risk-based IT operational audits and walkthroughs.
• Support year-end financial statement audit with required documentation.
