Job summary

NW Natural is seeking an experienced Senior IT SOX/Operational Auditor to lead the IT SOX Audit Plan and testing across IT general controls, automated controls and key reports. The role requires strong collaboration with business controls, IT compliance and external auditors, plus independence in performing IT operational audits.

The candidate should have a CISA certification, 5+ years in IT SOX audits, and fluency with SAP, data analytics tools and AuditBoard.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in information systems, CS, accounting or related field.
CISA certification is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of IT SOX audit experience.
Experience developing test work programs for new SOX controls (manual & automated).
Experience performing baseline and benchmark testing of key reports.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the annual IT SOX Audit Plan.
Execute and report on IT SOX testing including IT general controls and automated controls.
Plan, lead and document control walkthroughs to evaluate IT general controls.
Evaluate operating effectiveness of IT SOX controls through testing.
Develop test steps and audit procedures for new IT controls and key reports.
Document SOX testing work with high-quality audit evidence.
Drive stakeholder engagement to align IT SOX testing with expectations.
Project manage IT SOX audit activities and reporting.
