Job summary

Wipfli in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Consultant to develop and implement technology and process solutions for clients, with emphasis on Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, and security. The role includes up to 15% travel to client locations and a mix of in-person and hybrid work.

You will lead projects, scope and price work, mentor Consultants I/II, and ensure delivery of value-driven results while coordinating with client teams and internal SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of technology solutions experience in a professional services firm or 10+ years in private industry with 1+ year in a professional services firm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel to client locations within the U.S.
• Possesses or works towards appropriate advanced certifications.
• Demonstrated blend of technical expertise and consultative ability to assess needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, SharePoint, endpoints, servers, and cloud apps.
• Document and maintain client roadmaps, security reviews, and improvement plans.
• Lead maintenance and security review discussions by analyzing reports and gaps.
• Identify risks and opportunities, present recommendations, and develop solutions.
• Scope, price, and monitor project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Communicate status, costs, schedule, and risks to project leadership and clients.
• Train and mentor junior consultants and contribute to R&D and innovative solutions.
