Job summary

Wipfli is seeking an IT Solution Consultant II to design and implement client solutions, with a mix of consultative and technical duties in the Chicago area. The role interfaces with clients and internal teams to drive improvements in IT and business processes.

The position requires 3+ years in technology solutions, Azure and Active Directory expertise, and on-site client experience with up to 15% travel in IL and WI. A degree and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of technology solutions experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel to client locations within the U.S.
• Possesses or works towards obtaining appropriate advanced certifications.
• Blend of technical expertise and consultative ability to assess needs and deliver value.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects under pressure with changing priorities.
• Training, support or consulting advisory experience; healthcare or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues and coordinate with SMEs.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, AD/Active Directory, SharePoint, endpoints, and servers.
• Document and maintain client technology roadmaps, security reviews, and improvement plans with business impact.
• Lead client maintenance and security review discussions, analyzing reports and roadmap progress.
• Identify risks and opportunities, present recommendations, and develop solutions.
• Scope, price, monitor project work plans, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and out-of-scope items.
• Communicate cost, quality, schedule, and risks to project lead; update client on status.
• Participate in R&D and foundational efforts to deliver innovative solutions to the market.
