Wipfli in St. Louis, MO seeks a Senior Consultant to develop and implement client solutions, spanning consultative and technical work to enhance business processes and IT environments. The role interfaces with clients and internal teams to drive value and outcomes.

The Senior Consultant will lead complex service desk escalation, assess Microsoft 365/Azure/AD, document roadmaps, manage risks, and mentor junior staff while traveling up to 15% to client sites within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of technology solutions experience in a professional services firm or 10+ years in private industry with 1+ years in a professional services firm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel to client locations within the U.S.
• Possesses or works towards obtaining appropriate advanced certifications.
• Demonstrated blend of technical expertise and consultative ability to assess needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects under pressure while quickly responding to unexpected events or changing priorities.
• Training, support or consulting advisory experience is preferred; experience serving clients in healthcare or financial institutions industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues and coordinate with internal SMEs.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Active Directory/AD, SharePoint, endpoints, servers, and cloud apps.
• Document and maintain client technology roadmaps, security reviews, and improvement plans with clear business impact.
• Lead client maintenance and security review discussions by analyzing reports on stale users/devices, security gaps, and roadmap progress.
• Identify risks and modernization opportunities; present actionable recommendations.
• Scope, price, and monitor project work plans, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and out-of-scope requests.
• Proactively communicate cost, quality, schedule, and risks to the project lead and client.
• Train and mentor Consultant I/II; delegate work to enable associate development.
• Lead research and development efforts to position the team for innovative market solutions.
