Job summary

Wipfli seeks an IT Solution Consultant II to design and implement consultative and technical solutions for clients in the Chicago area. The role involves interfacing with clients, outlining roadmaps, and driving improvements across Microsoft 365, Azure, and AD.

You will lead maintenance reviews, assess risks and opportunities, and manage project plans and budgets while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3+ years of technology solutions experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues and coordinate with internal teams to drive resolutions.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, SharePoint, endpoints, servers, and cloud apps.
• Document and maintain client technology roadmaps, security reviews, and improvement plans with clear findings and next steps.
• Lead recurring client maintenance and security reviews by analyzing reports on stale users, devices, and security gaps.
• Identify risks and opportunities; present actionable recommendations and develop solutions.
• Scope, price, and monitor project work plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables; handle change requests.
• Proactively communicate cost, quality, schedule, and risks to project leader and clients.
• Participate in R&D and foundational efforts to deliver innovative solutions.
