Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Program Manager to support an IT portfolio within a PMO. The successful candidate will oversee agile project teams, drive performance, and ensure quality for DHS-related environments.

Requirements include 10+ years of PM experience, PMP, ability to pass the DHS background check, and a Bachelor’s degree. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement from Arlington, VA with potential remote days and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 10+ years PM/PMO experience.
• DHS security/suitability background check.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead agile teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or IT.
• PMP certification required.
• Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, organize, and manage multiple agile project teams.
• Ensure high performance and QA standards for clients.
• Manage large enterprise portfolio with cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead diverse teams including acquisition, finance, and PM staff.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and customer standards.
• Prefer experience with DHS/ICE IT environment and SELC.
• Organize and manage federal contract operational support functions.
• Resolve issues to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders and cross-functional dependencies.
• Assess application scope and assist in client requirements while supporting implementation.
• Demonstrated lifecycle acquisition PM experience in a federal environment.
• Experience with requirements tools and tracking.
