Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise solutions within a federal environment. You will manage project plans, schedules, risk mitigation, and executive updates in a hybrid work setting in Washington, DC.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of large-scale IT project management, with strong knowledge of PMBOK, Agile, federal IT acquisition, and cybersecurity compliance.

Qualifications

• Ten years of IT project management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale IT programs with budgets and resources.
• Knowledge of federal IT acquisition, PMBOK/Agile, and cybersecurity compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end program execution with project plans, risk tracking, mitigation, dependencies, exec updates, and change communications.
• Architect the Hypercare model for post-go-live support, including issue intake, triage, escalation, and readiness processes.
• Design and optimize transition workflows, handoffs, reporting routines, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Escalate risks and timeline impacts, coordinating with distributed teams to protect delivery.
