Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Program Manager to support an IT portfolio within a Program Management Office (PMO) for a DHS-related client. The selected candidate will lead agile project teams and drive delivery excellence.

We require 10+ years of PM experience, DHS/ICE IT familiarity, PMP certification, and strong communication skills. The role is hybrid in Arlington, VA with remote work options and DHS clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Project/Program Manager.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levels.
• Must be able to successfully complete the DHS security and suitability background check.
• Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Proven ability to lead teams in an agile environment.
• Able to advise on how to utilize team members appropriately.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and backfill for team as able.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, organize, and manage multiple agile project teams.
• Achieve high performance and quality for clients and ensure QA standards are met.
• Manage a large, complex enterprise portfolio with multiple Agile teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead large teams of technical, acquisition, financial, and program staff.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and customer systems and quality standards.
• Apply DHS/ICE IT experience and SELC lifecycle knowledge to projects.
• Direct all aspects of contract operational support functions with inter-related tasks.
• Identify issues, develop resolutions, and meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and stakeholder alignment.
• Assess application scope and requirements in support of delivery.
