Job summary

SingleStore is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to shape and own the IT toolset used by our end users. This hands-on role covers planning, design, development, and Tier 3 support across end-user support, endpoint security, and infrastructure applications.

You will mentor junior engineers, design scalable IT solutions, and partner with all business units to evaluate hardware and software. This onsite SF role offers a dynamic startup environment and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and administering Google Workspaces, OKTA, Slack and JIRA.
• Experience using GAM for bulk tasks in Google Workspace via CLI.
• Experience administering Kandji or macOS MDM tooling.
• Experience designing tools for macOS, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Eagerness to learn and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Administering a wide variety of SaaS applications including OKTA, Google Workspace, Slack, and JIRA.
• Eliminate manual work through tooling, integrations, and automation.
• Onboard new hires and manage user offboarding processes.
• Support junior team members with troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues.
• Design, architect, implement and maintain IT systems and solutions across hardware, OS, software, networking, and conferencing.
• Collaborate with business units to evaluate hardware and software solutions.
• Communicate effectively with the entire company.
• Analyze and improve business processes where none exist.
