Job summary

Uncover is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise end-user systems, manage device lifecycles, and resolve complex IT issues. The role requires hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, Intune, Jamf Pro, AD/Entra ID, and scripting for automation.

You will mentor IT staff, partner with security and operations teams, and drive standardization across device fleets while ensuring compliance with internal QMS and external regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years' enterprise end user support experience.
• Experience configuring Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDP, Print Management, Windows, macOS, Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and anti-virus utilities.
• Strong expertise in MDM tools such as Jamf Pro, Intune, JumpCloud, or Kandji with hands-on zero-touch deployment and compliance monitoring.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills (PowerShell or Python) for cross-platform tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead endpoint development and implementation activities.
• Create and maintain end-user systems standardization including asset life cycles.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows and Mac end-user issues.
• Automate software installation, configuration, and uninstallation processes.
• Develop and document operations procedures to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain relationships with customers and manage vendor contracts and roadmaps.
