Job summary

SingleStore in San Francisco is seeking an Sr. IT Operations Engineer to own the planning, design, and Tier 3 support for IT toolsets used by end users. You will work hands-on on end-user support, engineering, endpoint security, and infrastructure applications, while mentoring junior engineers.

You will administer Google Workspace, OKTA, Slack, and JIRA, and build automation to reduce manual work. Excellent communicator with a passion for learning will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and administering Google Workspace, OKTA (+ Workflows), Slack, and JIRA.
• Experience using GAM or similar tools for Google Workspace bulk tasks.
• Experience administering Kandji or other Mac MDM tools.
• Experience designing and implementing tools for distributed macOS/Linux/Microsoft OS environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Administer a range of SaaS apps including OKTA, Google Workspace, Slack, and JIRA.
• Automate manual tasks through tooling, integrations, and automation.
• Handle new hire onboarding and user offboarding processes.
• Coach junior team members on troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues.
• Design and maintain IT systems covering hardware, OS, apps, networks, and conferencing.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
