Job summary

SingleStore is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to administer end-user tooling, automate workflows, and provide Tier 3 support across macOS/Linux/Windows environments. You will manage Google Workspace, OKTA, Slack, and JIRA, build tooling to reduce manual tasks, handle onboarding/offboarding, and mentor junior engineers.

This role is onsite at our San Francisco office, with opportunities to shape IT strategy as we scale.

Qualifications

Experience implementing and administering Google Workspace, OKTA, Slack, and JIRA.
Experience using GAM to bulk manage Google Workspace via CLI.
Experience with Kandji or similar Mac MDM tools.
Experience designing and supporting a distributed macOS/Linux/Windows environment.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Desire to learn and mentor others.

Responsibilities

Administering a wide variety of SaaS applications and staying up to date with new features.
Automate manual IT processes through tooling and integrations.
Handle new hire onboarding and user offboarding processes.
Support junior engineers with troubleshooting and resolutions.
Design and maintain IT systems across hardware, OS, software, networking, and conferencing.
Collaborate with business units to evaluate hardware and software solutions.
Communicate effectively with the entire company.
Analyze and improve IT processes and implement new business workflows.
Continuously learn and take on new challenges as the business scales.
