Job summary

TeamLogic IT of Greater New Haven seeks a seasoned IT professional to act as a technical authority and trusted advisor for SMB clients. The role blends hands-on support with project leadership, shaping how we grow and serve our clients.

You will own complex technical issues, manage network solutions, and guide a team while collaborating with vendors to deliver projects on time. This is a foundation-building role with growth into leadership as the business scales.

Qualifications

5+ years in IT support, including 2 years in a Level 3 or senior technician role.
MSP experience preferred; Bachelor's degree in IT/CS preferred; certifications such as Network+/Security+/CCNA are a plus.
Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Auvik.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support for servers, networks, and software applications; troubleshoot complex escalations.
Design, implement, and manage robust network solutions for clients.
Perform regular maintenance like patching, backups, and monitoring; ensure security and compliance.
Maintain strong client relationships and recommend technology solutions.
Lead IT projects, migrations, installations, and software deployments.
Create and maintain detailed client environment documentation.
