Job summary

QTS is seeking a highly organized Project Manager II - Infrastructure to plan, manage, and deliver internal IT projects on time and within budget in a data center environment.

You will collaborate with Systems and Network Engineering teams, manage complex programs, and communicate status and risks to senior leadership. Seven+ years of PM experience and a strong technical foundation are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Seven+ years IT/PM, service delivery or CRM experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience building detailed technical project plans and task dependencies.
• Experience managing complex programs with multiple sub-projects/workstreams.
• Advanced knowledge of data center concepts (space, power, cooling, connectivity).
• US Citizenship required by law due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver internal IT projects on time and within budget.
• Facilitate communication between Systems Engineers, Network Engineers and Data Center Technicians.
• Develop and manage project plans, phases, tasks, dependencies and deliverables.
• Review changes with stakeholders and approve beneficial changes.
• Monitor status, issues, risks and escalations for upper management.
