Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager – Q-Systems to lead design, pre-construction and construction activities across multiple data-center projects. You will liaise with contractors, consultants and operations staff to ensure alignment with standards and budgets.

The role demands strong communication, extensive project management experience, and travel up to 50%. You will collaborate with internal teams to enhance PM processes and deliver technologies that support facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, science, or engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight+ years of professional experience in building controls, security, and/or low voltage design and construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Travel up to 50% of the time; average travel every other week for 2–3 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects on multiple campuses with budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Review design for compliance with QTS standards and Basis of Design.
• Oversee commissioning to ensure system operation per design documents.
• Implement multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget and quality goals.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for technology design, construction and commissioning services.
• Monitor schedules and lead teams to on-time completion.
