Job summary

Posit is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join IT Operations, supporting a 100% distributed workforce and the enterprise AI infrastructure. You will own core platforms, drive improvements, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining robust security and compliance.

You will lead end-user device and SaaS configurations across Mac/Windows/Linux, manage the enterprise AI platform and MCP integrations, and advance our GitOps and IaC practices using Pulumi or Terraform.

Qualifications

Significant IT experience in SaaS-first or distributed environments.
Strong background in identity, endpoints, and enterprise AI platforms.
Experience with IaC and GitOps workflows.

Responsibilities

Own multiple core IT platforms including configuration, health, security posture, and roadmap.
Escalate and resolve complex issues across end-user devices and SaaS apps.
Improve employee technology workflows and onboarding/offboarding processes.
Manage enterprise AI platform integrations, license management, and MDM deployments.
Mentor engineers, review pull requests, and promote secure operational practices.
Maintain SaaS configurations, access controls, and patch management.
Create and update technical runbooks and playbooks.
Lead IT audits and drive GitOps adoption across platforms.
