Job summary

AlixPartners seeks a CCSI Systems Senior Engineer to join a hybrid team in New York, NY, or other locations. This hands-on role focuses on cloud and platform engineering, AI-enabled platforms, GitHub-based delivery, Terraform IaC, and containerized workloads, primarily in Microsoft Azure.

You will deploy and operate AI and non-AI cloud workloads across Azure, AWS, and GCP, implement GitOps pipelines, and support security, compliance, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience supporting and operating cloud platforms, preferably Azure‑centric.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled or data‑intensive platforms, incl. Azure AI or LLM services.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, supporting multi‑environment deployments.
• Experience using GitHub for source control and CI/CD, with GitOps workflows.
• Experience supporting containerized workloads and cloud‑native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, operation, and improvement of AI-enabled platforms and LLM services using Azure native capabilities.
• Participate in engineering and operations of cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and GCP, with emphasis on Azure PaaS and automation-first designs.
• Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and remediating performance, reliability, and cost issues across AI and non-AI cloud workloads.
• Support platform scalability, security, and compliance in production cloud environments.
• Contribute to GitHub-based delivery workflows and maintain IaC using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, JSON, and PowerShell.
