Job summary

Elevait seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes. You will own EKS operations, automation with Terraform, and build secure, scalable platform services for internal engineers.

This remote US role emphasizes CI/CD with GitOps, observability, and security. You will collaborate with the team, drive platform improvements, and lead technical decisions while applying modern AI tools to accelerate workflows.

Qualifications

7+ years in DevOps/platform engineering/SRE or related roles.
Strong hands-on AWS, core networking and security concepts.
Advanced Kubernetes experience including cluster operations, autoscaling, production workload management.
Strong Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Scripting/automation in Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure and automation with Terraform.
Own EKS and Kubernetes platform operations, including lifecycle, upgrades, and capacity planning.
Build and improve Kubernetes platform capabilities (networking, RBAC, secrets).
Develop deployment workflows with Helm, Kustomize, GitOps tools (Argo CD/Flux).
Deploy observability: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards; strengthen security.
Support reliability of PostgreSQL and RDS environments; monitor incidents and perform root-cause analyses.
Lead technical decisions within scope and prioritize work.
Apply AI tools to accelerate design, troubleshooting, and documentation, validating outputs.
