Job summary

IT Labs seeks a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join a globally distributed team focused on AI, cloud, and data-driven delivery for financial services. You will build secure CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and orchestrate containers at scale across cloud platforms.

The role requires 5–10 years in related domains, strong AWS expertise, and hands-on K8s experience. EU-based candidates preferred for this remote, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, security controls, networking, and container platforms.
• Experience designing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines for complex cloud-native applications.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, especially with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration of containerized workloads in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools, vulnerability management, and compliance practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and reliability practices for production systems.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Prior engagement in large-scale enterprise environments and mission-critical systems.
• Candidate must be located in an EU member country.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.
• Implement and manage IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation across clouds.
• Embed automated security scanning and compliance guardrails in delivery lifecycle.
• Manage containerization strategies, orchestration, and Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS).
• Administer cloud access controls and secure networking configurations.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging for high availability and uptime.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams for penetration testing and incident readiness.
• Support secure deployment of AI services and cloud-hosted apps in production.
