Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks an experienced Senior IT Technical Writer to strengthen cybersecurity and operations documentation in Spartanburg, SC. You’ll collaborate with engineers, admins, analysts, and IT leadership to convert complex technical knowledge into durable, actionable documentation for day-to-day operations, incidents, and disaster recovery.

You will organize and standardize content, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge bases, using SharePoint and Visio to create clear, maintainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical communication or IT.
• 5+ years creating professional IT/tech documentation.
• Strong MS 365, Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams proficiency.
• Excellent Visio for diagrams and process visuals.
• Experience producing SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Attention to detail and consistent documentation standards.
• Ability to work with SMEs across cybersecurity, IT ops, or infra.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain documentation using standardized templates.
• Create SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
• Produce incident-response, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity docs.
• Interview SMEs to extract information and translate it clearly.
• Create diagrams and visuals with Visio and MS 365 tools.
• Enforce terminology, versioning, metadata, and review dates.
• Collaborate with analysts and technical teams to publish docs.
• Lead documentation-recovery and knowledge-management efforts.
