Job summary

CoVerica, a premier employee-owned independent insurance agency in Dallas, seeks a Senior IT Desktop Technician to be the hands-on IT face for the team. You’ll provide Tier 1–2 desktop support, deploy workstations, and manage devices from onboarding to retirement to keep staff productive.

After an acclimation period, a hybrid schedule may be possible. Requirements include 3–5 years of desktop support, strong Windows/M365 skills, and familiarity with Entra ID and Kaseya.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on IT desktop support experience, ideally in an insurance agency or professional services.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business apps.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Familiarity with Kaseya or similar RMM tool; basic MDR/BDR concepts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; able to explain tech in plain language.
• Degree or equivalent hands-on IT experience; certifications a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 desktop and end-user support via phone, email, and in person; resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Escalate complex desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral problems; document solutions for re-use.
• Set up, configure, and deploy new workstations and mobile devices; manage hardware lifecycle from onboarding to retirement.
