Job summary

Abbott seeks a Business Relationship Manager to optimize IT delivery for Core Diagnostics IT Supply Chain. You will translate business needs into IT opportunities, guide roadmaps, and partner with internal teams and external vendors to align with strategic goals.

You will influence senior leaders, manage budgets and ROI, and drive continuous improvement across global supply chain processes at Abbott.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience within a large global Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing organization.
• Proven BRM experience supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations functions.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps and leading digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Execution Systems (ERP, MES, Manufacturing Systems, Production Planning, Scheduling, or SCM technologies).
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior business leaders, including Directors and VPs.
• Experience managing vendors and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and project delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Influences and partners with business to understand business strategy and communicates IT updates regularly.
• Turn business needs into user and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with BTS Delivery and external vendors to deliver IT solutions within budget and timeline.
• Review Statements of Work to ensure clear articulation of business needs.
• Support cross-divisional initiatives and identify IT synergies and efficiencies.
• Lead and manage project portfolio with significant value and ROI.
