Abbott is seeking a Business Relationship Manager for Core Diagnostics IT Supply Chain. You will partner with business leaders to translate needs into IT opportunities and roadmap investments, collaborating with BTS Delivery and vendors to deliver compliant, value-driven IT solutions aligned with global supply chain strategies.

The role emphasizes budget, ROI, and staffing planning while ensuring cross-functional collaboration across Abbott IT and external suppliers in an on-site IL setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience within a large global Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing organization.
• Proven Business Relationship Management (BRM) experience supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations functions.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps and leading digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Execution Systems, with experience in ERP, MES, Manufacturing Systems, Production Planning, Scheduling, or SCM technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior business leaders, including Directors and VPs.
• Experience managing vendors and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and project delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Influences and partners with business to understand business strategy.
• Interacts with business leadership to ensure needs are understood and IT updates are communicated.
• Turn business needs into user and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with BTS Delivery and external vendors in the delivery of IT solutions per budget, timeline and service levels.
• Review IT Statements of Work to ensure clear articulation of business need and alignment with work effort.
• Manage issues, risks and decisions within time frames and outcomes.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships across Abbott IT and external suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional policies.
