Job summary

Abbott is seeking an IT Relationship Management professional to partner with Quality and R&D, aligning priorities with technology solutions to drive compliance, innovation, and operational excellence.

You will act as the primary IT liaison for Quality and R&D, with secondary support for Commercial, translating business needs into technology roadmaps and coordinating delivery across teams. Onsite in Des Plaines, IL with travel to Lake Forest locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of IT, business relationship management, or related delivery experience.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional business and IT initiatives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of application lifecycle management, cybersecurity, privacy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT partner for Quality and R&D with secondary support for Commercial.
• Build relationships with business and IT stakeholders to understand goals and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into requirements, options, and roadmaps.
• Support demand intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, and technology investment decisions.
• Coordinate delivery of projects from requirements to adoption, with testing and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, and applications teams to implement solutions.
