Job summary

VIATEQ Corporation is seeking a Vendor/Asset/Financial Management Lead to support a Prime contractor and government client in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid with 1 day onsite and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

The Lead will manage IT asset inventory, software license compliance, vendor relationships, and IT financial management across a distributed enterprise, ensuring audit-ready records and strong governance. Strong leadership and autonomous execution are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on IT asset management, software license compliance, vendor management, and IT financial management experience.
Demonstrated experience leading or supervising an IT asset management or vendor management team in a Federal or comparable enterprise environment.
Proven experience managing IT asset lifecycle management for large, geographically distributed enterprise environments.
Experience with software license compliance management for major enterprise software vendors including Microsoft, Adobe, and others.
Demonstrated experience with IT financial management and cost tracking in a Federal or comparable enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the vendor, asset, and financial management team in delivering accurate, audit-ready IT asset inventory and lifecycle management services.
Establish and maintain IT asset management standards, procedures, and quality benchmarks aligned with ITIL 4 asset management practices and industry best practices.
Oversee the full IT asset lifecycle, from acquisition through deployment, maintenance, and disposition, ensuring accurate tracking and accountability at every stage.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex IT asset management issues, discrepancies, and audit findings.
Monitor IT asset inventory accuracy and completeness, taking proactive action to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate asset tracking and lifecycle management activities with Infrastructure and Platform Operations and other teams.
Develop and maintain the IT asset management framework, including asset classification standards, lifecycle policies, and disposition procedures.
