Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Acquisition and Asset Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement for hardware, software, and cloud consumption, ensuring alignment with federal guidelines. You will manage asset tracking, renewals, and warranty disputes, while coordinating installation and refresh activities across dispersed locations.

The role requires 7+ years in federal IT planning and procurement, strong leadership in asset management, and an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of enterprise IT planning, inventory, and procurement for federal government clients of similar size and complexity.
• Strong background leading acquisition and asset management teams for large federal projects.
• Active secret clearance.
• Willingness to go onsite 2x/week in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement processes for hardware, software, and cloud acquisitions, including planning and tracking spend.
• Manage and track IT assets using ServiceNow and other ITAM tools.
• Implement and maintain an automated Inventory Management System with real-time tracking.
• Process hundreds of hardware/software procurement requests annually, ensuring compliance with government methods.
• Conduct market research and evaluate IT-related goods/services, identify market trends.
• Prepare procurement packages and manage configurations with providers under proprietary constraints.
• Serve as the lead for warehouse/logistics for the program, coordinated by a subcontractor.
• Support bi-annual inventory reviews and maintain accurate records.
• Facilitate renewals of maintenance and support contracts and resolve warranty disputes.
• Plan and assign install/upgrade/refresh activities across dispersed offices.
• Support life cycle asset management, audit response, and asset tracking for federal clients.
• Lead acquisition and asset staff for projects of similar size/scope.
• Analyze procurements to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize agreements.
