Job summary

VIATEQ Corporation is seeking an IT Asset/License Manager to support a government customer in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid, requiring 1 day on site and eligibility for Public Trust.

The candidate will manage IT hardware assets, software licenses, GFP records, and CMDB data across the client environment, coordinating with multiple IT teams and government stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant asset information throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of IT asset management and software license experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience managing IT hardware asset lifecycle for a large distributed enterprise.
• Experience with software license compliance management for major vendors.
• Administering a CMDB and ITSM asset records.
• Experience with Government-Furnished Property (GFP) in FAR 52.245-1.
• Familiarity with asset discovery tools and automated inventory management.
• Knowledge of ITIL 4 IT asset management practices.
• Experience in Federal/private-sector environments of similar scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of IT hardware asset inventory from acquisition to disposition.
• Maintain a comprehensive hardware asset inventory across endpoints, servers, and network equipment.
• Coordinate asset receiving and tagging for new assets in the Government ITSM platform.
• Support asset deployment with related teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic physical asset inventory audits and reconciliation.
• Manage GFP records and disposition per FAR 52.245-1.
• Provide CMDB data and reporting to support incident/change/problem management.
