VIATEQ in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior AWS Tech Lead to guide platform engineering and cloud initiatives across CRM, Integration, and Platform Services. The role is hybrid, requiring one day on-site and building secure, scalable AWS-based solutions for government customers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in technical leadership, hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, with strong collaboration across cybersecurity, operations, architects, and product owners to deliver mission-aligned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
8+ years of technical leadership and platform engineering in enterprise or government environments.
Hands-on AWS implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.
Experience with Agile delivery and translating stakeholder needs into technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, document, and sustain AWS capabilities using AWS services and tooling.
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and secure deployment automation.
Translate requirements into practical technical solutions for mission-aligned platforms.
Support architecture, planning, release readiness, and production transition activities.
Develop reusable patterns, automation, and runbooks to reduce risk.
Troubleshoot issues across platform configuration, data, APIs, identity, security, and performance.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, QA, and ops teams to align with federal expectations.
Maintain clear technical documentation and design decisions.
