Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Vendor/Asset/Financial Management Lead to support CLIENT's IT asset inventory, software license compliance, vendor relationships, and IT financial management activities in Washington, DC. The position is hybrid, requires 1 day onsite, and the candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years in IT asset management and IT financial management.
• Experience leading or supervising an IT asset or vendor management team in a Federal or comparable enterprise.
• Proven experience managing IT asset lifecycle in large distributed environments.
• Experience with software license compliance management for major vendors.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT asset, license, vendor, and financial management activities across CLIENT's enterprise.
• Develop and maintain asset classifications, lifecycle policies, and disposition procedures.
• Maintain audit-ready inventory, CMDB data, and license records.
• Coordinate vendor performance monitoring and renewal activities.
• Provide accurate IT cost data, dashboards, and financial reporting to leadership.
• Serve as escalation point for complex asset and vendor issues.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, and COR stakeholders.
