Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II for our Tucson, AZ facility. The role focuses on compliance oversight, assessment, and operations of security systems under RMF, DoD manuals, and customer directives.

You will mentor ISSOs and provide guidance on day-to-day cybersecurity operations. You will conduct periodic cybersecurity reviews, serve as SME on a broad range of topics, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen defenses.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience required, advanced degree preferred.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in cybersecurity, RMF, and IT compliance frameworks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Support ISSOs and cybersecurity managers in documentation and writing tasks.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure policy implementation as outlined in governing documents.
• Intermittent travel to other Raytheon locations (10-20%).
