Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for 100% onsite work at our secure facility. You will partner with the ISSM to ensure compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, JSIG, and related regulations while supporting security sustainment and education.

Ideal candidate has a university degree, 2+ years in cybersecurity or RMF, and the ability to work with government customers. A Secret clearance is required on day one, with active status preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree.
• Experience with RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM or related standards.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and IT systems.
• Experience with audits and compliance reviews.
• Ability to work in DoD/classified environments.

• Ensure system compliance, auditing, security plan development.
• Deliver information system security education and awareness.
• Investigate information system security violations and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives.
