Job summary

RTX is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our classified computing environment in Tucson, AZ. The role works with the ISSM to ensure compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG policies while contributing to cybersecurity across programs.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, experience with security processes, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Operations or related cybersecurity major obtained by start date.
• Experience with Cybersecurity processes and tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system compliance and auditing within a classified environment.
• Develop security plans and assist in delivering security awareness and education programs.
• Investigate information system security violations and contribute to reports for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives.
• Support security sustainment activities including hardware/software change management and account management.
