Job summary

RTX in Tucson is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support on-site cybersecurity. You will work with the ISSM to ensure adherence to NIST SPs, DAAPM, JSIG, and NISPOM, across the program.

The role involves compliance monitoring, audits, and security documentation. Requirements include a university degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience (3+ years with advanced degree), DoD/security experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with RMF/JSIG/NISPOM or related security frameworks is valued.
• Experience in DoD/classified environments and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor system compliance, audits, security plan development, and security education.
• Investigate information system security violations and prepare corrective action reports.
• Review and approve configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative security assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes and tools into the environment.
• Support creation and update of cybersecurity documentation and writing.
