Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to support our cybersecurity team onsite. The ISSO will oversee compliance, assessments, and operations for information systems and mentor ISSOs across the organization.

You will conduct recurring cybersecurity reviews per DoD, NIST, and company policy, serve as SME on cybersecurity topics, and work with external counterparts to guide and train ISSOs.

Qualifications

• University degree or related equivalent experience.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• 8+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM and related government standards.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and IT systems.
• Ability to travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Review configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Support ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers with documentation and writing.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure policy implementation as outlined in artifacts and governing docs.
• Intermittent travel to other Raytheon locations (10-20%).
