Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II for 100% onsite work in Tucson, AZ. Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance (Secret) is required on day 1.

The role focuses on cybersecurity governance, assessments, and policy compliance within a DoD–sponsored environment. The ISSO II will review management requests, perform assessments, integrate new cybersecurity processes, and support documentation efforts. Travel 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or other)
• Relevant experience in Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening
• Experience with RMF/DAAPM/NISPOM/JSIG and non-defense regulations (PCI/ISO/HIPAA)

Responsibilities

• Review configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Support ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers in creating, reviewing and updating cybersecurity documentation.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
• Intermittent travel to other Raytheon locations (10-20%)
