Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our cybersecurity team onsite at our Aurora, Colorado facility. The successful candidate will interface with the Information Systems Security Manager to ensure adherence with NIST SPs, customer directives, and company policies as applicable to NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG.

Requirements include a university degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years), DoD/regulated

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
Experience with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM, DAAPM and related DoD/regulatory standards.
Experience with Windows and Linux environments, IT compliance and security tooling.
Ability to interpret directives and provide technical security guidance.

Responsibilities

Assess system compliance, audit, security plan development and education.
Investigate information system security violations and prepare corrective actions.
Review configuration management requests within authority.
Conduct technical and administrative security assessments.
Support creation and updates of cybersecurity documentation.
