Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) II for 100% onsite work in Tucson, AZ. You will guide secure information systems, collaborate with Cybersecurity Operations and Engineering, and drive standards across programs.

Expect to obtain or maintain a DoD 8570 IAM III credential within six months and lead security initiatives. Salary ranges reflect federal-style compensation and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree with 5+ years is acceptable.
• Experience with Cyber/Systems Security or Network Architecture/Technology.
• Familiarity with compliance regs (NISPOM, DAAPM, JAFAN, ICD, FAA, HIPAA).
• Security clearance required or obtainable (DoD 8570 IAM III).

Responsibilities

• Conducts briefings and presentations for multiple levels of the business.
• Serves as SME for designated tools and secure solutions.
• Develops and supports technical standards balancing program needs.
• Provide strategic direction and drive innovation in security.
• Collaborates with architecture teams to design secure solutions.
• Evaluates new technology and performs risk assessments.
• Advices customers and supports negotiations and approvals.
• Ensure efficiencies and cost savings through architecture oversight.
