Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to oversee real-time security events, manage live audio interactions, and intervene during critical incidents from monitored sites.

Role requires directing responses, alarm verification, and rapid decision-making in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Training is provided, with competitive shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Active listening skills to understand customer needs and respond appropriately.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations; strong professionalism while handling urgent issues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks and virtual tours of customer locations, identifying potential vulnerabilities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during opening/closing and on request.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take action based on severity, including contacting customers or requesting emergency services.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve, escalate, or support security and system inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and perform video verification of incidents.
• Notify designated individuals per customer instructions regarding alarms or events.
• Provide life safety support through timely dispatch and communication to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resetting signals.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events and customer requests.
• Intervene during real-time incidents using two-way audio to project authority.
• Handle situations like loitering or trespassing with de-escalation as needed.
• Document interactions and follow up to resolve incidents.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life safety interventions.
