Job summary

Compass is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to lead technical initiatives and mentor a team in a fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with Product and Design to deliver scalable mobile solutions on the Compass platform, driving architectural decisions and shipping production-quality apps.

You will guide junior engineers, ensure robust testing, and advocate for scalable, maintainable code. A strong background in Swift, SwiftUI, and REST integration is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum BS in CS or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of professional iOS development, with production App Store releases.
Strong Swift skills, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency patterns.
Experience mentoring engineers and leading projects.
Familiarity with RESTful services and Agile processes.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of complex iOS projects from planning to release.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape roadmaps.
Perform code and design reviews and write high-quality tests.
Define scalable, maintainable mobile architectures and systems.
