Compass is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to lead development of our end-to-end real estate platform. You will guide projects from concept to delivery, collaborate with Product and Design, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining high standards of quality, testing, and operational excellence.
The role emphasizes hands-on architecture, scalable mobile design, and a strong focus on delivering delightful user experiences in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional iOS development experience
- Deep expertise in Swift and modern iOS practices (SwiftUI, Concurrency)
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide projects
- Experience with AI tools and RESTful services
- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration with Product/Design/Engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery and architecture discussions for iOS projects
- Mentor and grow junior engineers on the team
- Review code, design decisions, and test coverage to ensure quality and operability
- Collaborate with Product and Design to influence roadmap with technical insights
- Define and decompose complex projects and drive delivery
- Establish best practices, monitoring, and runbooks for reliability
