Job summary

PGIM, a Prudential global asset management leader, seeks a Senior Associate in Investment Operations in Newark, NJ. You will lead a team handling ABF and Residential Mortgage Whole Loan operations, overseeing deal onboarding, funding, settlement, asset servicing, and secondary market activities.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Management, Legal, Fund Management, and external partners to ensure accurate transactions, strong controls, and scalable growth while operating in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Services with experience in Investment Operations, Private Credit, Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans or related products.
• 3+ years of people leadership including performance management and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Investment Operations professionals.
• Facilitate the deal execution process with deal team, counsel, fund management, and stakeholders.
• Capture and maintain primary and secondary market trading activity in the OMS.
• Manage end-to-end wire payment processes for deal funding and settlement.
• Coordinate and execute private asset transfers.
• Manage daily production including cash forecasting and positioning.
• Research and resolve cash and position breaks with stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute reports to support decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and controls.
