Job summary

PGIM is seeking a Senior Investment Associate to support its Asset Based Finance investment team in Newark, NJ, with a mix of in-office and remote work. You will assist senior investors across origination, underwriting, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of private credit investments.

The role offers broad exposure across the investment lifecycle, opportunities to lead analysis, create financial models, and present investment recommendations to committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field is required.
• Strong credit underwriting skills with experience analyzing borrowers and structured transactions.
• Ability to build and interpret financial models, cash flow analyses, and stress testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed credit and risk analyses of borrowers, collateral pools, and structures.
• Develop and maintain financial models and cash flow scenarios.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation decks for committees.
• Coordinate deal execution and closing processes with internal and external teams.
• Present analyses and recommendations to investment committees.
