Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management business of Prudential Financial, is seeking a Senior Associate to lead a team supporting Asset Based Finance and Residential Mortgage Whole Loan products. The role covers deal onboarding, trade settlement, funding, asset servicing, and secondary market trading, collaborating with portfolios, legal, fund management, and custodians.

The position is based in Newark, NJ with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Services, with demonstrated experience in Investment Operations, Private Credit, Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans, or related products.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience including performance management, coaching, employee development.
• Intermediate or Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to evaluate complex issues and make risk-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Investment Operations professionals, driving performance excellence and ensuring adherence to controls and risk management standards.
• Coordinate deal execution with internal and external stakeholders including deal teams and fund management.
• Manage end-to-end trade and cash processes, including settlement, funding, and reporting.
