- Maintain perpetual inventory record integrity and inventory accuracy
- Administer the cycle count program
- Analyze and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and perpetual records
- Audit daily error reports and make corrections
- Analyze and publish monthly and year-to-date WMS cycle-count variance data
- Validate stock change-in/out transactions against product structures
- Analyze miscellaneous receipts and issues and take corrective action
- Serve as distribution leader for physical inventory
- Research inventory issues using the online Inventory Audit Trail
- Prepare monthly reports on major problems and project updates
- Implement and monitor space utilization and product locator systems
- Delegate work and oversee inventory staff and scheduled shifts
- Assist with associate relations, training, development, evaluations, counseling memos, and attendance follow-up
- Audit the warehouse for safety, security, and quality compliance
- Conduct daily startup meetings and coordinate operations with the manager
- Communicate operational issues to management and DSV representatives or clients
- Provide information about labor and equipment needs
- Develop team leaders and ensure associate expectations are met
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Perform other assigned duties and assist management as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in a logistics, distribution, or relevant environment
- Able to operate MHE
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with RF scanners
- Knowledge of WMS functions
- English reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities and counting inventory
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work mandatory or voluntary overtime as required
- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in an inventory department
- Preferred: 1–3 years in a progressive leadership role
